It must have been too long since I spent one whole day with my bestie.
Albeit the lack of time spent together, this one day only made it clearer that she is my one true good friend.

I admire her lead in life. Her character shines in ways that I could or have not achieve.
Perhaps that is what makes the two of us, yet... we can understand, respect, and love our differences combined.

We argue... a lot because our opinions, I would say at most times, cannot come to a mutual conclusion. However, that is not important.

It is how we get over ourselves and our own issue of being stubborn and accept the bloody fact that we will sometimes, NEVER come to "a" conclusion.

Back in Malaysia

I miss my computer. vickyvacko (my brother) is kind enough to be asleep right now so I could use his pc. It's so true that Malaysia never sleeps. Neither do I. Not proud on my side, though.

I have never seen Ayers Rock, nor did I know anything about it. I know it's must be some special rock. Just after hearing "We Can Be Heroes", I came across one of Australia's 'must-see' places - Ayer's Rock. Some rock it was. I didn't exactly had my foot on the special rock...but this view ain't all that bad.

The captain informed us inside the aeroplane.

Both Shirley and Joey, my two little cousins, are currently being fostered by my kind mother. It's great to see my mom busy once again, since she's lonely at home with me and Victor all too old for her to torture. Haha :) It's wonderful because I was too young to remember how my mom tortured me. Now it seems these two girls are loving it :) My mom reads to them almost every night. I bring them out :)

It's been a while since I saw J-mie. The last time I saw her, I could still carry her with one arm. Look at her now! Grown up to be such a beautiful lady. She's almost one year old now, but not fully grown. Amazing baby girl of mine. I sincerely hope to come home for good just to be with her. She is currently very well taken care of by my Kakak. Behind J-mie is my best buddy, Kit.

Who do we think we are? I don't think there is a need for that and there is no point to making a big fuss because I claimed it as a Blogger's Day. WOW or YTL earns more money?!

I had a very queer conversation with my childhood friend this afternoon. It started off with me joking about him being a nerd and he didn't like it. I told him nerds are smart people, and others make fun of them because they are jealous. He insists to be called a 'Genius'. Tell you what Mr. WOW, "genius" invents. "Nerd" works smart. SO, you're a nerd.

Why WOW and YTL?

My friend's initial is OWW, which stands for Ong Wai Wah. I told him his surname should be WONG, which changes his initials to WWW, since he's a geek+ nerd, it'll be cool. He insists to have WOW instead, hoping that his Surname is in the middle - Wai Ong Wah (WOW).

Then my name would be ETL, which stands for Ee Tan Ling. BUT.....!

My name is Tan Yee Ling (TYL). If we swap the surname and middle name, I'll be Yee Tan Ling (YTL!!)

The childish argument begins.

"Muahahaha! YTL is bigger than WOW!!"

"Eh...WOW is the mother of all mother, okay? They earn MILLIONS!"

Sorry to say, but the show in KL will not proceed. Today - Sat.Jan.20.07. - we received confirmation that we did not get approval from the 'authorities'. Sorry KL but we tried. Despite our best efforts to put on a show here, we were rebuffed. Sheeeeeesh! My internet is gone again. Since I'm staying in this apartment for less than 3 months, I didn't bother getting the land line and adsl connected. Besides, we're given free wireless internet. However, I'm only allowed 1gig of download per month. It's not even half a month...I've used up the allowance. LoL! No class! Having my semester break just relying on internet to connect myself to the world. I didn't even download songs or movies...just by reading blogs..posting..checking deviantarts..going to Super Mario websites..ebay..*sigh*..It must be youtube. I checked on tsunami *cries for two tragedies-tsunami and no internet*

MiccO's Easter Holiday Activities!

Sunday morning (8th April), I was draggin my bum out of bed when Annabel came knocking on our doors saying, "wake up! The easter bunny came by! come on out and see the mess he made!"

As we walked through the hallway to the family hall, Roger enthusiastically said he managed to trick Easter bunny. "Easter bunny sneaked in to our house last night..but little did he know that I put powder at the main door where he enters and look! There are easter bunnies footprints all over! Hahaha! Now... Elaine and Marrisa, can you see easter bunnies footprints? Follow them! See what easter bunny left for you!

Apparently, Easter bunny gave us so many egg shaped chocolates ^^! Roger said, "We heard some noises down the hall this morning so we rushed out. Easter bunny panicked and ran out! The main door caught a little bit of his bunny fur! LoL!

All of us did were not given time to even brush our teeth!! *Psst* I couldn't resist my chockies I ate one before brushing my teeth that morning! *wInk*! I thought that was it but no! We had egg treasure hunt! I felt like a noob...but to be honest, it was really funny. I had a great time despite the puffy eyes and morning breath...

Weather : Cold. Don't know how cold.. Just cold.
Current status : I'm so tired. It's not like I did anything really active today...maybe I'm mentally exhausted from being all enthusiastic about the job interview. Right. The job interview was fine..I guess. They asked me from my previous experiences what skills do I have that will help myself in Shin Tokyo. Sheesh...I don't know how to brag! I just said.." I've done many random promotional jobs on mall concourses for new product launches. Basically approaching customers, introducing promotion benefits...then understand customer's interest...penetrate beyond their expectations! LoL!"

Ya... like that came out right.. I just said, "I've done many promotional jobs that requires us to approach customers, introduce promotions and benefits to interest customers in purchasing what would be suitable for them I.M.O. Sincerely."

William the interviewer : "What kind of promotions? What tasks?"
Err...I thought my answer before was exactly that... :( *cry*
Elaine : "I worked with so many different companies as being a promoter myself as well as marketing or initiating promotions for their benefits...I'll roughly summarize this. I personally did promoting for Samsung at an exhibition, Neutrogena as beauty consultant, *stuck*.

(Right now I wanna kill myself coz I would have said...) I also proposed promotions and marketing ideas for my clients, such as 'Nail Basics'. Providing them a layout of who their target audience are(demographics), location, time, models, and what not. *argh* didn't say that. I think that is the freaking SKILL they are asking for. I can't believe myself. In my head, I was just costantly reminding myself not to sound too arrogant..so I kept my business experiences low.

ZzzzzzzZ. I went so low profile, I think I kinda lost my profile somewhere by brainwashing myself and bringing myself down. Don't laugh at me :( it's my very 1st encounter! *boohoo!*

Question is... "Are we suppose to be 'Bragging'? " Grrrrr! I was afraid I get sidetracked..coz it's an interview. I can only talk about what I can do if I'm talking to a client. Ooh nooo...my baby is gonna slaughter me for not talking about my business! *eek!* I can feel it coming when I tell him this.
I was afraid to ask how much is the salary....... Haahahahahaha! William from Shin Tokyo will spread the news on Monday!
